DIRECTIONS:

The Chadwick Bed & Breakfast is conveniently located in the Historic West End district of Portland, Maine. Travelers have close proximity to all modes of transportation including the Portland Jet Port (less than 3 miles away), train service by Amtrak Downeaster, and coach bus service via Concord Coach Lines or Greyhound. The islands of Casco Bay can be accessed via Casco Bay Ferry Lines.

If you choose to drive, The Chadwick Bed & Breakfast is approximately 2 hours from Boston or Bangor, 4½ hours from Burlington, and 6 hours from New York City, Montreal, or Quebec City.

FROM SOUTH:

Take I-95 North
Merge onto I295 North, via Exit 44, toward Downtown Portland
Take Exit 4, Portland Waterfront
While crossing the bridge, merge to the left lane
At the first light, drive through the intersection, then merge one lane to the left
(There are two left-turning lanes; you'll need to be in the in the one on the right)
At the next light, turn left onto Valley Street (unmarked)
At the next light, turn right onto Danforth Street
At the first stop sign, turn left onto Vaughn Street
At the fifth stop sign, turn left onto Brackett Street
At the first stop sign, turn left onto Bramhall Street
At the fork, bare left onto Chadwick Street
140 Chadwick Street will be on your right

FROM NORTH:

From I-295 South, take Exit 6A, Forest Avenue-South
Stay in the right lane and follow the "To 77" overhead sign
At the first traffic signal, turn right onto Park Avenue
At the second traffic signal, turn left onto Deering Avenue
At the first traffic signal, continue straight onto Bramhall Street
Continue straight through the first stop sign on Bramhall Street
At the fork, bare left onto Chadwick Street
140 Chadwick Street will be on your right

FROM PORTLAND JETPORT:

Follow Route 22 East, which becomes Congress Street
Continue on Congress Street, following the Hospital signs
At the traffic light of Congress Street and Bramhall Street, turn right onto Bramhall Street
Continue straight through the first stop sign on Bramhall Street
At the fork, bare left onto Chadwick Street
140 Chadwick Street will be on your right
